All surgeries are by appointment only and these can be made by telephone  or at the desk.  Every available attempt will be made to fit urgent cases into the next available surgery on the same day or the receptionist will arrange for one of our clinicians to telephone you.

Any patient may attend a medical practitioner regardless of age.  A child of any age may attend alone; however we would encourage a child under the age of 12 to attend with an adult if possible.

Treat staff with courtesy and respect.  Reception staff may have to ask some personal questions to assist us in providing you with the best service.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Except in an emergency, requests for home visits should be made before 11 am, so that the doctor’s can plan their day.

The receptionist may ask for further information to enable the doctors to assess the urgency of the call.

If you require medical or general advice, the receptionist can arrange for the doctor to ring you back.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.

It is important that you inform the reception staff if you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient. If you fail to notify the Practice that you are unable to attend, you will be sent a letter informing you that you have defaulted from your appointment. Persistent defaulters maybe removed from the list.

We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.
